D-Day is here eek!!!

Hi lovely ladies

Well my first round of chemo starts tomorrow morning!! eek!

Thank you for all the tips and hints I have been given from you - I went and did a "chemo shop" for all my wonderful array of mouthwashes etc , drinks , iceblocks, soups etc!!

Thought I would stock up in advance and be prepared.

I have butterflies - my bag of distractions is packed and I am trying to keep positive!!

Unfortunately today I was sent to have a fine needle biopsy of a lump on the other remaining breast which then progressed to a core needle biopsy - it looks a bit like a cyst but with a few anomalies and considering the miss with the other side - not taking any chances it seems !!

So have filed that away until I get the results next week and will save any meltdown until after I am on the chemo road.

What a rollercoaster ride indeed.

I hope you are all doing well or hanging in where you are on your path!

Heres to dday passing tomorrow and I guess been one step further to getting to the end !!!

    Good Luck with your Dday.... We are all here for u & I'm sure you have a great support team around you. Feel what u need to feel & take care of yourself. 

    Sorry to hear about ur other breast I was in a similar situation, turned out ok for me, hope it does for u too.... I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. lets us know how it turns out :)

    Hi,

    Hope you are feeling o.k.   The first one was daunting for me as well, but once that was over, I knew what to expect. The first round of the different treatments was the worst for me. We bought or stocked up on things because we lived out in the country, but found we didn't use them all. I hope all goes well with the other results.

    hi there Pink, good luck with tommorrow, if you feel up to it, please let us know how it goes, hopefully you will be one of the lucky ones and get through with minimal problems.  Sorry to hear about the other biopsy, but on the brighter side, (If there is one) if there is anything there they will get on top of it, while you are having treatment. the most important advice is, make time for yourself, and dont push yourself to the limits, listen to your body. will be thinking of you tommorrow.
