It is hard work this surgery business. The nurses are wonderful, but it is distressing when you don't quite understand the extent of what is going on until it happens.
The drain tubes and the drips and the medications are all so foreign and painful. I'm so glad that this part is over for you. Give yourself time to rest and recover.
