Hey ChibipinkWelcome but so sorry you have had to join us but glad you did find us.I luv your profile pic by the way, where did you find that beauty? As your profile is private do you mind telling us how old you are and where you come from? This bloody BC has a way of catching you unawares and knocking you down flat for a bit until you pick yourself up and dust yourself off and carry on.I know when I walked into the surgeons office after my first surgery to be told the tumour was much bigger than expected, they couldn't get a full clearance due to the chest wall and that 2 nodes were involved you could have knocked me over with a feather. I had it all planned - fit the little bit of radiotherapy in to fit in around my daughters wedding where I would be in Perth anyway. Bob's your uncle and away you go. Uh uh not to be sorry but you have to have the full works. My first thought was #%&* I don't have time for this. BUT it had to happen. I had my first surgery 23rd December and then they shut up shop for the silly season so I also had to do the horrible horrible waiting game. I can tell you my Xmas was pretty crappy.Go with the rational brains thinking as it is the right one. Keep yourself busy doing lots of lovely things you enjoy doing is all you can really do. Throw yourself in to your work, housekeeping, ironing, washing, partying, movies, anything you like to do just to keep yourself busy and the time will pass quickly.Have you gone online and ordered your My Journey Kit yet and any fact sheets that may help you. I spent my time reading as much as I could about BC as I wanted to be informed but that is me personally. You have found yourself as part of a group online who welcome you with open arms and we will be here for you the whole way thru as you need us to be. I wish you strength, patience and lots of love, Mich xoxo
