Has anyone else gotten itchy hands and feet like me the day after a CT scan with the iodine sachets and injection?
They look like tiny little blisters under the skin and they itch like mad. I took a Telfast which is keeping me sane. I hope they go away soon.
Still have the itchy under skin blisters. Mostly on 4 finger tops and my heel on one foot. Telfast wasn't cutting it so I took Nurofen anti inflammatory which seems to take the red out and holds the itch at bay.
Doesn't look like its going away any time soon and I have to be very careful not to bust any of the blisters as I have surgery coming up in a week.

I had a reaction to the iodine as well on my arm, I was in hospital at the time and antihistamines sorted it out pretty quickly (ice packs helped too). They didn't know what had caused the allergy at the time, but I worked it out after having iodine drops in my eyes for a trial I was participating in, just a small reaction that time. I haven't really had any problems since (8 years on) and I don't have an issue with seafood or anything else. Might be worth getting it checked out if it doesn't settle quickly though.
