CT SCAN - FULL BODY

Hi Elisha,

I had my full body CT Scan on Monday.   As per Leonies' comments, you will be advised when to stop eating, but you can drink fluids (nothing milky though).  You will be given some concoction mixed with cordial to drink (you get to choose what flavour cordial too, woohoo :o)  I had 3 glasses to drink every 20 minutes, then you will get a canula put in.  In the room, they will connect you up with the fluid.  You will be told to hold your breath with the machine does a lap of your body.  You may need to do this a couple of times.  The fluid going through your body, will make you hot and feel like you wet yourself.  It was the freakiest thing I have ever felt.

Hope all goes well and you get the all clear, as I did today. Yay!!!  You may want to get a hold of your Breast Care Nurse to follow up on the results as mine told me that the Doctors don't get back to you with results.  And it is a nice change to hear some good news. :o)
