Ct bone scan reporting
well aren’t I annoyed
had my comparison scan this morning to see if there was any change in the bone lesion and guess what no report enclosed, I phoned up they got caught out when I asked oh we don’t put copies in they get sent to the referring Dr.
I asked since when. She said always. Sorry I said you’re wrong I have mine from the last . 4 years worth as I always take them to my GP so he gets a copy
Im an accounting clerk not a Dr I have no idea how to read the pictures anyway
I struggle being understanding the mumbo jumbo in there anyway
Oh well I will have to wait till Thursday now

- I used to get a copy to take to
my oncologist - which I
immediately opened and looked at! I can read it fairly well and I can then ask specific questions. Then the readings were emailed direct to my oncologist so I asked for, and got, a copy. Last time I didn’t get a copy - combination of changed facility during lockdown, scanner mechanical problems and unhelpful assistant! Back to normal I hope next time. It’s about my bones!
