Cruising Along, looking for a good year
Hello everybody, I haven't been writing lately as I have had a busy summer and finally am home alone as son went back to uni today. Despite a long hot summer I have enjoyed it so much as I am a real aquarian and love swimming and the beach so have had heaps of that this summer. It makes me feel so good (swimming ) as it it really loosens up those stiff joints. I have also found a good osteopath who not only is very cute but can give my back and neck a wonderful massage. I am now thinking about the year ahead and think I will try and give the house a bit of a makeover. I find it's always good to have a plan and something to look forward to. No too much travel as my daughter is doing her Year 12 this year so fingers crossed i must stay well. I was having radiation and drugs when my son did his and our world was topsy turvey but he's now in 3rd year uni....how time passes? On the health front I am doing well although I think the Tykerb/Xeloda might be making me incredibly fatigued. It could also be the build up of ms contin in my system as well or combination of everything. Will talk about this with the doctor as I am still on my 3 week cycle of Zometa. I used to get up at 5.30am, go to the gym, get everybody off to school etc, go to work and then do all the evening stuff. I'm afraid those days are past as I find it hard to even get up and seem to have little energy. When the weather cools down I will try some walking to try and increase energy. I had a great birthday with lots of good wishes sent my way. I'm sure you all feel the same that people who don't welcome birthdays are sourpusses! I see little old ladies in the supermarket and I want to be one!!!
