Hello, I am thinking of having my other breast off and then having both breasts recreated prob via the DIEP method. I am interested to know how much this may cost and if any of it is covered by medicare and HCF. If anyone has any information I would appreciate it. Thanks, Julia
Yes I think she does. Ring and check her ph number is 9439402. She operates public at Royal Nth Shore. I chose implants because I did not want to go under for so long and the DIEP is longer to recover. I have had enough of opertions. So over it. Good luck. Debbie

Very interesting. I thought it may be about that amount. I am also in top cover(HCF) so will see what they say. Your option sounds so much cheaper- amazing difference.
I am seeing Dr Stern in February and depending on how it goes, I may shop around.
