Hi Bel, I had a bit of cording and it has gone away. Don't know if that's what always happens but hopefully it will for you too. My view on cancer treatment is that this disease is so insidious and potentially deadly that we can't afford to muck around with alternative (which basically means unproven) treatments. That's not to say that complimentry therapies - like good nutrition, exercise, meditation etc - aren't helpful in getting your mind and body in the best shape to help beat the cancer. Never heard of this bi-carb treatment though. I had cold gloves with my chemo which were supposed to protect the finger nails. Don't know if it made much difference. They didn't fall off or anything but did develop ridges. Janet :)
