Hi Fiona, I am on Femara, which is like Arimidex. At first I thought I was going to avoid the side effects, but like you, I now suffer from all the same things as you. I would be scared to comeoff the drug, but I have only been taking it for 5 months, and my knees and fingers are so stiff. If I crouch down, I can't get up again. My body feels like I'm 90, but I am only 53. I walk the dog daily, and am soon allowed back to the breast cancer gym and yoga. ( I have had recent reconstructive surgery ). i hope it makes a difference. I am also going back on fish oil, which I have been off for a month due to all my surgery, and my tendancy to bleed. Good luck and I hope your side effects lessen soon. How long have you been on this drug? love Chris xx
