Hi Karene, you sound really well and very fortunate to have a DIEP and to be happy with your shape. I am a few months ahead of you and have had the revision is spoke of in my last message to you. I am actually going for the post op for that today to talk about any more tweaking and nipples (are you going with nipples too). Very exciting to be at this end of it. I also just got home from going for a run. Not like me at all, but great to feel well enough after this last 18 months.
Because you seem keen to share your story I wondered if you knew of the Breast reconstruction online group. Its a private place where women are sharing their reconstruction stories including images. As you would understand its so helpful to have someone to connect to when planning and leading up to this surgery.
