Concerned about blue veins on upper chest.

I am trying to monitor this staph infection sensibly, which is from the drain point, and is still a 2-3inch flush of red,  Now my seroma is building up pressure, and the weather is hot and sticky and my daughter  and I don't know whether we should be concerned or not about the enlarged blue veins from my collar bone down to my operation scar on the operation side of my chest.

Your experience and suggestions would be much appreciated
