Coming to grips with it all

Well I offically in third week (early days I know!!) and now have a plan which is a long way from were I was last week. It constantly amazes me how women are a constant source of support and fellowship to other women. A friend said yesterday think about this cancer is a temporary passenger on my life journey. Having surgery next Friday ... fingers crossed

  • Such comforting words which ease the anxiety. It's easy to feel alone even when surrounded. Much appreciated :) x ps thanks for the good energy for this Friday xx
  • Good Luck for your surgery on Friday, Mouse.  I hope it all goes well and you recover quickly.

It is certainly a huge test for us, to be able to wait patiently for biopsy results, surgery dates, pathology results and treatment plans, without going permanently nuts hahhahaaaa :o) .  All the while we are thinking, why me?, how did this happen and to continually re-assure our Family and Friends we are doing ok....

Your Friend has good advice, this breast cancer thing is a temporary passenger, who has hijaked our life for a short time, to make us stop and see all the things we are grateful for in our lives.  I had been quite independant from an early age and not really close to my Family, and this has brought us all together after about 25yrs of living in our own little lives.  So good things do come, out of bad situations  :o)

Take Care and all the best for Friday, will be thinking of you.

    Rachxx
