I think it might depend on the type of reconstruction you are having.If you are having an implant then I don't see any issues.However,if you are having a DEIP or TRAM flap recon then it's a one off use of your abdominal fat and you can't have it again should you get cancer in the "good"breast.If you do test positive for the BRCA gene then you might consider a profilactic mastectomy.
