Chemo does sound very scary and I was scared before I started. Unlike you I didn't have the choice but to have chemo. I am not going to sugar coat it, chemo is not a pleasant experience but as said by others it is only a small time frame in your life to make sure you are here for many more years. Unfortunately you don't know what to expect from each round. On the bright side I met some lovely people both nurses and patients while having my chemo which made the experience all the more pleasurable. My doctor said to me that if you have a good attitude whilst undergoing chemo it can make the experience better. I apparently did very well during my chemo considering I was given the strongest dose possible and even though I did have some dark days I attribute some of this to my attitude. Good Luck with your treatment. Believe me the time does go past quickly.
