Cold caps chemotherapy

Hi Debbie, you are right. Cold cap treatment is new method where they fit your head with a cap anf and freeze your hair to prevent hair loss. It is widely used in Europe and Amreica now. My oncologist has warned me that although it prevents completely hair loss, about a third of hair will still fall out. The nurse has asked me not to cut my hair short to see how I reacted to the treatment. It is my 19th day after first treatment, I have lost some hairs but it's not obvious yet. I have booked myself to a feel good group. Will try out a wig just in case cold cap does not work for me. Thanks for your advice.
