if you are cancer free then no need for Xeloda, its just another form of chemo normally given if you have had recurrence or mets. I had it after a recurrence - didn't work for me - the B&**& of a cancer I have seems to be resistant to every chemo out there - I had my tumour sent to US for extra tests to see if there was any chemo likely to work and unfortunately nothing that is currently in use is likely to work. and I can't have any more radiation either and it's survived 7 weeks then 5 weeks - its a really stubborn thing. - so I have fingers and toes crossed that they have a breakthrough soon in the research that might help me.
