Hi TripleNegMama
I have also been treated for TNBC. I wasn't actually given a stage, Post neoadjuvant treatment I still had positive lymph nodes (and now know I also had cancer cells outside my nodes) and have been on a treatment plan of Xeloda, I'm now on my 6th cycle (and hopefully last). I've chatted to a few other lovely girls on here who are being treated for TN and have had a similar treatment plan to mine, they will possibly be on Xeloda too as a post neoadjuvant treatment.
http://www.breastcancer.org/research-news/xeloda-improves-survival-for-her2-negative ; will give you some information about the Japanese trial that showed successful for TNBC after neoadjuvant treatment with residual c cells remaining. You can also do some googling about it, but most of the articles are quite technical.
Other than Xeloda, Immunotherapy is the buzz around TNBC as a trial, I would suggest you get a second opinion on treatment options from another oncolgost. One of the staff here might be able to guide you better (1800 500 258).
Warmest Regards,
Jen
