Clear bone scans woohoo
Well when I had my radiation oncology appointment a couple of weeks ago and she ordered a bone scan for my chronic back and knee pain and new hip pain I was asked if I would like a phone call or and appointment for the results. I said I would come for the appointment as I did not want to get the news over the phone if it was bad.
Today I got a message on my phone. As I started to listen and heard who was calling I started to freak out momentarily as I couldn't understand why they were ringing when I said not to. Anyway it was a message from the young registrar (who probably didn't get the message about not calling). My little heart was pounding for a moment. Fortunately he said it was good news and everything was fine except for "wear and tear" and that they would see me in a couple of weeks....
Don't know why I had that moment of panic but so very happy to finally have the "all clear" message. woohoo four years and counting from second triple negative diagnosis. I'll take that.
Wishing all those just starting there BC treatment all the best.
hugs to all
