I was diagnosed three weeks ago with two lumps in my right breast and had a lumpectomy last week. I was told this would be followed by just radiation but as it turns out I now have to have chemo too. ...
I agree with all the advice already given. I had a checkup just before being diagnosed and should have had my wisdom teeth taken out but there was no time. During chemo one wisdom tooth became badly infected which sent my white blood cells plummeting so no chemo that week. So be careful of infections. I was also advised to rinse with either bi carb or salty water 4 times a day and floss. No mouth ulcers but I got a cold sore that took weeks to heal. I struggled to eat as everything tastes terrible. I was told by dietitian to have hospital grade sustagen to boost vitamins and minerals.
