I was very anxious starting chemo too. I found the fear worse than the reality. My advice is wait and see. Everyone's side effects are different and you won't get all of them. Your team will be by your side the whole way to help keep you comfortable. Most side effects can be reasonably well managed, so report to your treating team and listen to their advice.
