Chemo starting soon!
Met my oncologist yesterday for the first time. She was great in answering my long list of questions and telling me everything I need to know.
Well I start chemo next Tuesday - my Melbourne Cup lun...

Thanks for your encouraging words....and yes, my husband and I are planning a nice, romantic lunch in Bunbury before my 1st chemo......should be lovely!
Where do you live Mich? Guessing Margaret River - Augusta somewhere along the beautiful WA Coast? How come you had your chemo at SCGH and not in Bunbury? Just curious 'cos I had my surgeries done at SCGH and thought they were just fab....but wanted to be closer to home so got a referral to SJGH......
I hope you are getting on ok...obviously a very special lady managing to get such a rare condition with your radiotherapy! You are special for more than that though...you have always got positive messages for others and obviously making my own journey much more bearable because of your advice and lovely words....THANKS!
