That must be really irritating. But sorry, can't shed any light. I had and still have peripheral neuropathy in hands and feet (feet were particularly bad) but no mouth issues other than loss of taste buds. Which is a known side effect of Taxol but not, as far as I am aware, linked to peripheral neuropathy. Question for others or for oncology nurses (I found them to be very helpful about the wide range of side effects that can occur). Best wishes, I hope the problem clears up soon.
