It's hard to know at the time what to do, the whole thing is very overwhelming. My decision to do the bilateral mastectomy was easy, I knew that I didn't want to take the chance with it returning in the other breast and as I had other family members with breast cancer this just made that decision that much easier.
I'm glad you're doing well now, lets keep it that way ;)
