Chemo finished!
hi all,
Well it's finished! I did it!!!I had my last Taxel today and boy it felt good. No more PICC as well. My oncologist was away so the nurses were reluctant to at first take it out :( But the ...
Thanks for kind words and advice and welcome to my contacts! Thanks. I will heed your advice. All the nurses keep reminding me that I'm not super woman and that I can only do what I can do. I think this experience has made me stronger and made me realise what is important to me. I will be more gentle on myself. I know I still have a long way to go and this is where this site keeps me grounded! The BC journey is life changing and there is no looking back. I am also frightened about starting Tamoxifen but I'm sure whatever will be will be and I know I have lots of my pink sisters out there who can offer advice etc.
I am going to have to adjust to the new "normal" which I know won't be easy for me but necessary.
I will take care and you also along with all my pink sisters. You are always in my thoughts.
Thanks and best wishes to you too,
Alison xx
