Chemo finished - YAY
I have finally finished my 6 rounds of chemo.... 3 rounds of FEC and 3 rounds of Taxotere. Just started my rads on Thursday, only 2 weeks after my last chemo infusion and still getting lots of aches...

Congratulations on finishing your Chemo, it is such a relief isnt it? I also suffered with continuing pain, numbness, and heartburn for about 3-4 weeks after chemo. My oncologist called it "lag". I took Nexium and it worked quite well. I also have a very sensitive stomach now and cant tolerate some foods. I guess it all takes time to heal. Be careful with radiation, lather on the cream. My skin did really well until the last week and the week following treatment was worse. Unfortunately I have to work and it was very painful, I even had burns on the back of my affected shoulder! Sleep whenever you can, the whole experience is exhausting...look after yourself. Take care and hope you feel well
