Chemo Day
So off we trot again for more chemo" today was the last session of this cycle, I have a week off next week, the 3 more weeks of the nab paclotaxel before starting FEC. They got a nice shiney new treatment room and it's much brighter and much less shabby than the old one, much more roomy too, but it's not so easy to have a laugh and a natter, guess there's just no pleasing me! I'd been having a conversation with someone the other day and they mentioned the anti steroid injection and it's effects. To be honest I hadn't even realised that it was a steroid, it made me realise I need to be more aware of what's going on. I usually get the anti nausea in my drip ( I think) today I got it injected through the cannula for the first time omg! I thought someone had lit a match under my lady bits, very weird feeling, I did however burst out laughing cos that was very effect I'd been warned about! It's my wedding anniversary today (18 years) and it's my birthday in February, so we've booked a night in a hotel at Burswood and tickets to see the Illusionists, looking forward to it and I intend to have a couple of wee alcoholic beverages!
