That sounds tough. I have seen some people post about travelling for treatment, but I don't know who. It might be worth posting your question as a separate blog so it shows up on the main page and more people see it than will do at the end of this one.
The information about infections they give you is really scary but my oncologist was quite reassuring about it. Yes you need to be careful and watch your temperature but you don't need to live in a cocoon. Make sure you talk to your oncologist about what the issues are for you in a remote community with less access to immediate hospital treatment.
