Chemo day one - done!

I had my first chemo treatment today FEC and to be honest it really was a non event.  If you have ever had to have an IV drip it is just like that.  You may feel some slight cool sensation at the beginning.  Of course everyone is different but I was assured when I arrived that it wasn't anything to be afraid of and that it was just going to boring - which it was, once I settled myself down.

I don't know if this will help as I had already been told that too but we are entering a foreign environment and the word "Chemo"  conjures up so much fear.  If you have to have chemo, just remember you are in good hands and you are on your way to recovery.
