Chemo Day 4

Day 4 of Tanya's chemo.  She says it is unpredictable with the way she will feel throughout the day.  I suppose it makes it a bit more difficult for her to plan out her day. She is still getting rest. At least one nap a day.  We had two separate visitors over to the house today.  It was nice because we can get in a lazy mood then our friends come over and change the mood.  Of course, no one sick is allowed over.

We did go to the park in the morning but Tanya faded quickly so we came home for a nap.  All in all I think it is going as well as can be expected so far.

  • how lucky is tanya having a friend like you, so well done, and tell her we are all here and waiting for when she feels better, keep up the good work honey, it is just as bad for our friends and family as it is for the person going through it, i know my husband done the same as samatha's answering phones and doors and letting people know how i was doing, it takes a lot of pressure as sometimes you feel you just dont want to talk about the bc, and others thats all you want to talk about, so take the mood from her, well done. keep us informed regards Moira

  • what a great pal u are!  my hubby stayed at home with thru each of my chemo doses..he played the door b**tch ...he would screen who could visit and if someone called in while i was sleeping he could at least pass on how I was doing and that would satisfy their curiosity. As much as this is a nasty thing to endure, having u close would be a wonderful benefit for Tanya. keep the mood as light as possible..together u can get thru it

    Good luck with it all

    Sam :)
