CHEMO BRAIN
Whats your chemo brain like? whats the craziest things you've done that you normally wouldn't do?
me?...

I now have 2 bags of spuds! And more broccoli. SOUP! lol... If this is what its like when we eventually get 'ol timers disease', then we'll have plenty of practice! Names, Im forgetting names, and words when i want to sound intelligent! lol, especially if im telling my son off for something, makes me feel ridiculous! Teenagers! he just laughs and says, "mum, slow down, what are you trying to say??" so i swear at him and tell him to bugger off and behave! :)
I am however, finding I'm alot calmer... more accepting, as if nothings a stress, sort of like..."don't sweat the small stuff". Lifes WAY too unpredictable and short to be stressing about mundane stuff! I'm finding more and more people diagnosed with cancers lately, thats ALL i see! Its awful! And at young ages! I have two friends in my cancer group who have only months left now, bad results last week. They don't even look sick, nor do they act it! He's still riding horses, She's still swanning around, but both have decided the fights over, been a few years for them ( their not related), I admire their strength and tenacity. David was in a chair with me at chemo tuesday, he knew my results were good, my bloods have moved into the positive side, his... not so. I don't think he'll finish his treatment. I felt crap, and found it hard to be happy for myself.
