It sounds good for the start, I found good sleep is very very important, I also got my hair cut the following week and now just 1mm seem a sign of falling.....
Keep your mouth hygiene too.
Since you have kids in and out, please well prepare couple days later.... start your mouth cover, keep washing your hand, no hugging (sorry for kids) because white blood cell should start going down, by then your immunse system will down as well, in which you'll attract lots of germs, as far as you didn't reach 38 of the temperature, good control and resting, wait until your body work back for white blood cell, then the process is done. (I was in hospital for 4days due to fever 38.1)
Keep lots of fresh fruit, vegitable (keep your bowel); plenty of fluid and exercise which to keep your body move and working itself.
This week by the time I prepare for 2nd drip this Friday, I found everything taste bitter, soy sauce is bitter; yoghurt is bitter, ice cream is bitter (only vanilla flaver will do)...... I wish I could be better to go for future drip when knowing how to play the round from the 1st time experience.
