Hi Maggie
It is difficult to decided. I was given the option of either chemo or not.
That I think is more difficult. But due to my age (47) and grade (2) I decided I wanted to throw everything at 'the bitch that bites'. That way reduces reoccurance risk in combo with Tamoxifen to 5% over my life time.
Plus I personally wanted to know that I had done everything in my control to tackle this.
I have gone through two (29 may - halfway). So have two to go. Then the tablets and then back to the other life I was in but somewhat changed for the better.
Glad your radiologist was great. I have been lucky great surgeon and great oncologist.
Four treatments are challenging but if keep in mind that the chemo drugs are nailing the bc arse (excuse my language) then that's a good thing. And will be over soon. 6 weeks for me for no more chemo needles. Then just recovery.
Be kind on yourself and what ever you decided is right for you but also trust your docs.
