Ginger beer and cheese and onion crisps helped me! It is horrible when you have that taste tho, so can sympathise! It does get better though. I found about a week after each chemo session it started to come good (just in time for the next treatment!!).
Good luck :)

I found sucking on barley sugar was really good and drinking water with lemon in it (fresh lemon slices)....I think anything sugary and/or bitter/salty can help as it tends to mask the chemical taste.
I really either sucked the barley sugar or had mints in my mouth all the time...but very mild mints...hope that helps.

it can stick around for a while. :(
I found a few things could help - butterscotch lollies, fruit tingles, rinsing your mouth out with hot water (from tap) and a teaspoon of salt a minimum of 3 times a day.
everyone is different. I also found coke worked, really spicy food.
just try a few different things and you should find one that works for you.
