Chem 4 down, 2 more to go

Hay Pink sisters, how are you everyone, Would like to update my status.  Having the 4th drip yesterday, went well,  I felt myself very experience now (bad joke),  I make sure keep myself warm before the chemo, like clothings and socks on, drink hot water or black coffee when waiting (black coffee good for rinse the kidney and lots of weewee followed plenty of water)

When I keep myself warm enough, canulla will be easy to go through, quite true, it's good for me and good for those lovely nurses.  (they never meant to hurt me with needle right?)

Suffering from the 1st drip with 4days hospitals, I had the injection for the 2nd and 3rd at home (white blood cell booster), it work very well, however it cause me very bone pain for couple days.  As far as I know, panadol will help but I just leave the way (practising oldies)

Came across headache ..... some minor effects that I forgot, like nausea, and the stomach like double the size.......ahhh, 1thing, only the 1st drip I prepared with the nausea tablets, I've never take that anymore, so I had plenty left over.

Keep fresh juice, water, soup... everything liquid, some steak as well (I am low in iron)  and waling.

Last week really annoying me was my thigh muscle veryx2 sore, and no energy, hard to walk upward.  It last for more than 1 week, so I try to do lots more stretching, hope it'll help.

I'll keep smiling and positive, I receive lots of blessing and wishes from all my friends, My eldest sister came down from HKG to stay with me for 3 weeks, that's really nice (but busy - haha).

To Robyn :  I love you for miss me (hugging), I read all your post, and knowing you work on the Tamoxfen, which will come to me after Chemo/Radio couple months later, for 5 years..... so it's very informative for me as reference.

Keep up ladies.... we are the best.

  • I liked reading your post - I have 2 more doses of docetaxel and cyclophosphamide left. I will have to do more to warm my body up as they have trouble cannulating me. I drink heaps of water - so waterlogged after chemo! Eat healthy. I also had the injection and am sure it has helped with me not being QUITE so lethargic - I will start picking up a little this week and hope to have a week of normal.

are you now finished your doses of chemo? Can't wait til I am finished.

thanks to all the lovely pink sisters for their blogs, information and support - it is soooo important for us all.

    Marg xx
