WOW!!! You know it is hard for anyone to get BC, but when you are a nurse that deal with the patients of BC?
You know the other side of the coin which is startling to realise I would assume? My GP would say to me how childish his patients were when they were diagnosed and going through cancers. That was of course until the day he became a cancer patient himself. It grounded him very quickly. I never thought that medical staff would ever get illnesses such as cancer. Your blog has made me realise that we are all human no matter what we do as a profession. Good luck with your appointment today Julie, I hope it all works out for you! I myself had Stage 2, Grade 3 BC in 2011 and I am now in remission after having 6 sessions of chemo and 29 sessions of radiotherapy. Like the others have said this network is brilliant for allowing you to step inside the world of BC sufferers and survivors alike. And to chat with them to find an understanding with your own BC journey. Again I wish you the best and pray you get through this entirely. Just remember you are a strong woman Julie :)
