You poor love-you would have been all psyched up for the op and then the goal posts get moved on you.It is so distressing but what can you do-it's out of your control.Tell yourself how amazing your lymph nodes are at containing any stray cancer cells-try and believe it. I had to have a full node clearance because my surgeon said (due to the size of the cancer lump) I had a 60% chance of cancer cells in my nodes.Guess what - no cancer cells in any of the 17 nodes. I just thought what a good job my boob did of containing the cancer.All you can do is stay busy but also do what relaxes you. Big hug, Tonya xx
