Celebration Tattoo

After being diagnosed in July 2013, 6 rounds of chemo and 35 radiation sessions - I finally finish the bulk of my treatment in a fortnight. To celebrate I am going to get a little tattoo on the inside of my wrist. Boy its been a big journey full of ups and downs - thankfully the ups are more frequent now!  This is to remind me of how strong I can be when I put my mind to it.

  • Thanks Donna. A friend of mine has one in honour of a friend she lost. I thought it was a good idea to get one for fighting on. After all the tests and treatment getting a tattoo should be a sinch :P
  • I got a tattoo of a pink ribbon on the inside of my left wrist last October after my last radiation.

I love it, I call it my badge of honour. It reminds me of the journey I have been on and how lucky I am to have survived it.

Can't wait to see your post when its done and I love the wording.

  • Thanks Mandy, I liked warrior over survivor for the same reason. Now I just have to find someone to do it - will post a pic when it's done. Tashie x
