@tasia...It's a ridiculously stupid process for CBD oil at the moment. I have been advised to use it but it is so difficult and expensive to get through the "proper" channels. A supplier would love to get the oil tested for content but cannot due to the legal processes and my onc would love to know what the content is because he is interested in it's efficacy. My specialist would be happy to apply for me to get it but there's no guarantees that I would be approved and no guarantees if I was, that I would continue to be approved and it would cost me hundreds more than the unregulated oil, as I understand it. Absolutely ludicrous situation particularly when everyone thinks it's available on prescription. I'm crossing my fingers that the TGA review comes up with something better.
Do remember though, CBD Oil is still a chemical. Natural doesn't make it necessarily safe although it does seem to have very few side effects. It can, however, have contraindications with some drugs. So, good idea to discuss it thoroughly with your onc.
