Hi Catharine,
I was diagnosed in May with TNBC, mine was 1.6mm & removed with clear margins & no node involvment. I'm 41. I've finished my 1st 3 months of chemo, AC (Doxorubicin & Cyclophosphomide) Next week I start a 12 week dose of Paclitaxol, which I'm told is much more friendly on the system. I was going to do 4 weeks of radiation after that, but I have since found out I'm BRCA 1 positive, so I'll be having the hysterectomy & double mastectomy with reconstruction instead.
I didn't even think twice about the chemo....even though it's terrible. I personally can't afford to run the risk of that crap growing in my body again.
I agree with Michelle, ask lots of questions.
Stay well, Sam xoxox
