So I think I am going for this newer treatment called Carboplatin Taxotere with Herceptin as opposed to the AC usual treatment. Does anyone know about this newer treament? Has anyone had good or bad results from it?

I am in my 5th cycle of TCH and it is damn hard but I'm glad I have chosen this path, hard and fast is the way I want to do it, I have the Herceptin for 9 more months but I think that should be a lot easier than what I am doing now, the combo can make your white blood cell count drop and you may need to inject yourself the day after chemo and that brings new probs with pain management but nothing those lovely pain killers cant help!
It is aggressive but I felt it ws the best way to go and hope it suits your lifestyle as well as I have not been able to work due to fatigue and pain, I know it all seems bad now but hopefully you will get through it well. Some of the side effects are not to pretty but who cares at this point, I lost all my hair and quite frankly am very grateful as the hot flushes can be unrelenting and feel a freedom I had not had before as I realised hair is just such a frivolous thing to worry about when it's your life, lol.
