Capecetabine - side effects to hands and feet
Hi, I have been on capecitabine since July last year and progressively my hands and feet have become more tender. Now to the point that I feel like they don't get to recover in my week off treatment...
Was in the pharmacy on Friday waiting for a prescription to be filled and was filling in time looking at the moisturizers and contemplating buying yet another to try. Ended up buying 'Moo Goo' Inflammation cream. There are two forumulas and so far have only tried the one with marshmellow and elderbery. But it is brilliant!! It has improved the dryness of my hands and feet but also taken some of the redness and inflammation away. Doesn't make things go away completely, but has certainly made things easier for me to put up with. May even get my feet into some covered shoes for Winter. Interesting to see if it works for others! Hope so. Lisaxx
