Hi Kate
I have been on capecitabine for about 9 months. I developed hand and foot syndrome pretty much straight away. Despite, continuing to lower the dose, it is getting worse each month and I now don't get any reprieve during my non-treatment days. The seven days off treatment is not enough to repair the damage, particularly to my feet. I have tried numerous moisturisers and nothing works. Not sure how I will cope this winter as wearing covered in shoes is going to be a problem. Unfortunately, I have to persevere as it is working well. Hard isn't it? Lisa xx
