Can't take a trick!
Hi ladies, well I am in the wars again. I can't seem to take a trick. I was having a lovely time at a market on Saturday but the heavens opened and down came the rain. Everyone was scampering for shelter and after getting out of the way of some children, I slipped on the side of the path and went down like a tonne of bricks. Straight onto my new left boob which knocked all the wind out of me and I had images of my boob being mangled and squashed. Luckily that didn't happen LOL. Well the pain in my chest has steadily gotten worse and last night it was fairly agonising. I was worried that I could be bleeding internally with the blood thinners I'm on, not that there was any evidence of that. So today I went to my GP to get it checked out. He suspects I may have cracked a rib or two so I needed to have X-rays. I wasn't even thinking about my ribs. He said at the very least they are badly bruised.
I must have run over a dozen people in my past life! What a year!
But on the bright side, I've been told to rest up and not to exert myself for a while. So I'm sitting on my verandah with a cuppa and ignoring the house work. That's got to put a smile on my face :)
