Cant help myself, got to give you all a big chuckle

Well ladies, right now a few of you know I am very worried about my two gils - one soon to have a biopsy for breast cancer and my eldest daughter is being tested for thyroid and bowel cancer.  So it would not come as a major shock to any one that yours truly hasn't got her 'mind on the job'.......................here's a perfect example!  Any one who owns a SodaStream will know that there is a certain way of doing things - by now (some of you have a fair idea of whats coming now dont you......................)  Hubby got a nice bottle of Spice Rum for Chrissy, he likes cola in it as a mixer - me, well, I am a soda water person myself.........so yours truly goes to said walk-in pantry where thusly SodaStream is kept - puts the water in the bottle, and the syrup - puts said bottle and screws it to SodaStream -WHOA! what the? Bloody cola from A to breakfast time, pouring up in the air, exploding and fizzing all over me -I frantically unscrewed the bottle, and trying to stop the spewing cola with bot hands and threw the bottle in the sink!......................hubby stopped what he was doing and we just looked at each other - I stood there and cola had soaked me right through! It was dripping from my (now grown-back hair) dripping down my eyelids - I stood there in a pool of cola and looked around, it was on the ceiling, running down the walls......all through the pantry, all over the food in the pantry - yep, I said a really naughty word as my husband ran down the hall to get towels from the linen press - I couldn't move, I was still dripping (I had a long summer dress on too - so it added to the drippingness) - I swore again as my hubby started to clean down the walls - neither of us said very much.  The thing is with SodaStream? You are supposed to add the syrup AFTER you have carbonated the water - that folks is the difference between disaster and a normal bottle of cola.  Hubby was so good, he even put the steam mop over the floor the next morning..........he had to, we kept sticking our feet to it!  Yep that was a real bust ya buttons belly laugh (the next day of course!) Bloody SodaStream! Now I stick to my soda water.........hubby can make his own flaming cola (he'd agree with me on that little one!) - So ladies, don't ask yours truly to make your drinks - that is unless you need a good laugh!
