My sincere condolences to you. It is so sad to see a good friend go through something as horrible as cancer. About two weeks after I was diagnosed with BC, my brother in law passed away after battling non hodkins lymphoma for 7 yrs.He was 33yrs old. When I finished chemo my best friends mother passed away from an aggressive tumour, she just turned 55. From the time she found out to passing was a matter of months! Now I've finished all treatment another close friend of mine was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer she too is 40yr old and never smoked in her life! Through my bc journey I've lost a few people very dear to me and I tell you, I've never hated anything as much as I hate this disease!!! As Leonie said you need to live your life the best you can in Alex's honour. Big hugs going out to you
