Wow - doesn't time get away - havent ventured here for a while. Have had 2 lots of Chemo - getting ready for number 3 - am very pleased how going so far and get the feeling it does get a bit tougher...

Hi, Glad to hear that things are going okay for you. It must be very scary for little ones to see their mummy or in my case their nanna with no hair. My little granddaughter (3) was quite scared when I showed her my bald head. She "laughed" because I encouraged her to see the funny side of it but she was very uncertain. I gave her my pink wig so that she could be like nanna. When I saw her a couple of weeks later I asked her what "baldy" meant and she was spot on. Like all things change takes adjustment over time. I just love wearing my hats so don't wear my wigs very often. My daughter says I just look like a glamorous "old" woman who likes wearing hats!!!!!XLeonie
