I admire your positivity and found my experience with chemo to be very similar. It is really tough and the nausea does seem to go on and on but you do get there. It was 12 months on Friday since my last chemo and I feel great now. Like you I found the whole experience has made me more aware of my body and what it needs to stay healthy. At my check up with the oncologist a couple of weeks ago it felt great that her first words were 'you look amazing'. I am well aware that the risk of recurrence is always there but looking after my health as much as possible has to help and I feel better for it.
Nothing makes you more appreciative of life than having that life threatened. Life will soon be good and in many ways better than before. Take care. Deanne xxxx
