Busy Week

Well, today i finally had my drain removed! Feels weird not having it attached to me, but im sure ill soon get use to it.

Its been a good and busy week! I attended "Look good, feel Better" on Tuesday, it was a gr8 day, such a wonderful program, and the ladies that are there on the day are so wonderfull. Thankyou so much to all those beautiful ladies that made the day so memorable!!

Been keeping busy with getting as much done as possible b4 Monday, Chemo starts. I know its strange to be looking forward to it, but to me its the next big step, on the road to recovery. I know its gonna be a bumpy road ahead, but as ive said before, im trying to go through my entire treatment with a positve, strong attitude (i just hope i can do it like that all the way)

    Oh isnt it nice to be rid of the drain bags???  My last op, I had two and they were in for 10 days, they just didn't want to leave me???  We had a love, hate relationship.  They loved to stay with me and I hated them.  lol  Glad you liked the Look good program, I do hope you had the chance to meet some other women that were on the same journey and they inspired you.

    Great to see your positive attitude, but also know it is OK to have down days too, especially when chemo starts.

    Good luck for chemo and I hope the side effects are kind to you.
