Burning sensation after lymph nodes removed under armpit

I had lymph node removal 2 days ago and I am still in hospital but have unbearable burning/stinging pain in my upper arm. It doesn't appear to be near my drain site as I thought at one stage I must have pulled the drain out the pain was so bad. Nobody seems to believe me and I don't know what to do but am crying with the pain!
